Avalanche High School Hockey represents all of our high schools in Flagstaff and surrounding areas.  Our Teams will play against other AZ high schools within Arizona's High School Hockey Association (AHSHA) competing for State Champions!  

 

In addition to being on your HS Hockey team, you have the opportunity to play on AHSHA's all-star teams, you can try out for AHSHA's team Arizona, and you can also try out for AHSHA's premier travel team! (AHSHA's direct premier website)

Sponsorship and Fundraising
 

The Flagstaff Avalanche is always looking for community partners to provide sponsorship of our team (to assist with equipment purchases, support of volunteer coach travel costs, financial sponsorship for athletes that may not be able to participate without assistance, and more) while providing the business with marketing to local and visiting hockey teams through advertisement on this website. Please contact the Avalanche Board at flagavalancheboard@gmail.com to sponsor the Flagstaff Avalanche High School Hockey Team or to learn more about sponsorship opportunities.

 

Register your Fry's Food Stores card for a simple hassle-free way to donate to your Avalanche teams.  These funds cover team expenses & support our coaches!

Interested in Coaching High School Hockey?

 

Past and New coaches, if interested in head coach for the program, head coach of a team, assistant coaching, goalie coaching, etc, please sign up with AHSHA.org online.

Fans

 

Players- please remember to give your home game schedule to your school principal so they can announce your games over the intercom.  Best to notify your school the Thursday before a Saturday home game, they can usually announce over the intercom that Thursday and again that Friday.
